Docs and forms
Docs & forms holds the written material for your business: policies, FAQs and guides as documents, and a library of files. Use it to keep your rules and know-how written down in one place.
Ask Groomr
Groomr can’t create, edit or publish these documents from chat. You can ask it where to find them, and it will point you here.
Or do it yourself
Write a document
- Go to Settings → Business → Docs & forms. The Documents tab opens.
- Click New document.
- To start from a ready-made grooming policy or guide, click Start with a template. Or write your own.
- Give it a Title and choose an Audience: Client (public AI), Staff or Internal / owner.
- Write the Body. Headings, lists and formatting all work.
- Click Save draft, then Publish.
Each document in the list shows Draft or Published. When you edit a published document, publish it again so the published version matches.
Add a file to the library
- Go to Settings → Business → Docs & forms and open the File library tab.
- Click Upload file.
- Enter a Title, an optional Description, and choose the File.
- Click Upload.
Good to know
- Only the owner can create, publish or delete documents and upload or delete files.
- Files can be PDF, JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 12 MB each, and up to 200 files.
- To delete a document, hold Delete and remove from AI search. To delete a file, open it and hold Delete from library and portal.
- Published documents for the Client (public AI) audience are what the assistant on your public booking page uses to answer clients’ questions. That assistant is part of paid plans; on the Free plan, the booking page is a simple form.
- Your cancellation and no-show policy has its own page, Settings → Commerce → Cancellation policy, and isn’t written here.
- The Client portal forms tab, and the Visible to clients switch on files, are for the client portal, which isn’t available yet.
