Business profile

Your business profile is the basic record of who you are and how you work. Groomr uses it for your timezone, your prices’ currency, your address and which tools you see. Set it up once and change it when something changes.

Ask Groomr

“Add a van called Van 2, a white 2021 Ford Transit”

Groomr adds the vehicle with the details you gave. Only the name is required; make, model, year, color and license plate are optional. It then tells you to set the van’s home base and service area under Settings → Business → Profile → Vehicles, because it doesn’t set those from chat.

If your plan doesn’t allow another vehicle, Groomr says so instead of adding it.

For anything else on this page, such as your address or timezone, you can ask Groomr where to change it, but you make the change yourself.

Or do it yourself

Business information

  1. Go to Settings → Business → Profile.
  2. Edit the rows under Business information: Business Name, Timezone, Currency, How you work, Business Address, City, State, ZIP Code, Business Phone and Website.
  3. Click Save changes.

How you work has three options:

OptionWhat you see
Salon only (fixed locations)A Locations tab
Mobile only (grooming vans, no salon)A Vehicles tab
Hybrid (salon + mobile)Both tabs

It also changes which settings, maps and route tools you see elsewhere in Groomr.

Add a salon location

  1. Go to Settings → Business → Profile and open the Locations tab.
  2. Click Add location.
  3. Fill in Location name, Address, City, State and ZIP, and optionally Phone and Email. Turn on Primary location for your main address.
  4. Click Add location. To change or delete a location later, click its row. Changes save with Save location.

Add a vehicle

  1. Go to Settings → Business → Profile and open the Vehicles tab.
  2. Click Add vehicle.
  3. Work through the steps: Vehicle information (name, make, model, year, license plate, color, VIN and usual groomer), Home base & service area, Capacity & limits and Notes.
  4. Click Add vehicle. To edit a vehicle later, click its row and click Save changes.

Turn your booking page on or off

  1. Go to Settings → Business → Profile.
  2. Under Public booking page, use the Accept online bookings switch.
  3. To share the page, click Copy next to Booking link.

When the switch is off, the page still loads but asks visitors to call or message you instead of booking. Your booking page also needs at least one service on your menu before anyone can book from it.

Add your review link

  1. Go to Settings → Business → Profile.
  2. Under Reviews, paste the link into Review link. In your Google Business Profile, choose “Ask for reviews” and copy the link. Any review site works.
  3. Click Save.

Clients see this link after a visit, and review requests use it. It goes to every client, not only the happy ones.

Good to know

  • Only the owner can change How you work, turn the booking page on or off, change the review link, or add locations and vehicles. Other people see these settings but can’t change them.
  • Tax filing identity, further down the Profile tab, holds your legal business name and tax ID for IRS forms such as Schedule C and 1099-NEC. Only the owner can see or change it, and the tax ID is stored encrypted.
  • On the Free plan you get one base: one salon location or one vehicle, not both. To run more locations, more vans, or a salon and vans together, you need a paid plan.
