Day and time premiums
A premium adds to the price based on when the appointment is, not what the groom is. Use one for the days that are hardest to staff, such as a weekend rate.
Ask Groomr
Groomr can’t create or change premiums for you yet. You can ask it how they work, and it will answer from this page.
Or do it yourself
- Go to Settings → Commerce → Services & Pricing.
- Under Day & time premiums, click New premium.
- Fill in Name, such as “Weekend rate”.
- In Shown as, enter what the client sees on the receipt. Leave it empty to use the name.
- Under Premium, choose Percent or Amount, then enter how much.
- Under Days it applies, tick the days. Leave them all off to apply it any day.
- Under Runs, set a start and end date, or leave them empty to run indefinitely.
- Check Active is on.
- Click Create.
To change a premium, click its row, make your changes and click Save. To delete one, open it and press and hold Delete until the bar fills.
Good to know
Days and dates only. The editor sets days of the week and a date range. There is no time-of-day setting.
Premiums stack. Every active premium that matches the appointment is added. Two premiums on the same Saturday both apply. The Combine with others switch only affects promotions.
Worked out on the subtotal. A percent premium is a percent of the price after modifiers. See how a final price is worked out.
Applied at checkout. The premium is added when you check the client out.
Pause instead of delete. Turn Active off to keep a premium without applying it. The list shows it as paused.
Who can do it. Owners and Admins can create and change premiums.
