Marketing and Ad Studio

Marketing is where Groomr makes ads for your business: a single image, or a campaign kit with versions sized for different places. Use it for a holiday promotion, a slow week, or open slots you want to fill.

“Make an Instagram ad for last-minute Saturday openings”

This is Ad Studio. Groomr writes three versions of the ad’s wording and asks you to pick one. Then it makes the images, styled with your brand kit. If you haven’t said what the ad is for, it shows you a list of occasions to choose from first.

By default you get a campaign kit: square, portrait and story images, plus an email version. The finished campaign lands in your Inbox for you to review and approve.

Groomr shows your photos so you can pick one, then builds the ad around it.

Or do it yourself

Open More → Marketing. The page shows your Recent work and All work, with Calendar, Brand kit and Create at the top.

Make an ad

  1. Select Create and pick a template.
  2. Under What you’re advertising, describe the offer or occasion. Be specific.
  3. Under Look, choose whether to apply your brand kit. Add a Reference image if you have one.
  4. Under Output, choose Single image or Campaign kit.
  5. Select Generate. The result appears in the preview.

Set up your brand kit

  1. Select Brand kit.
  2. Add your Logo, Brand palette, Tagline, Voice & imagery and Brand fonts. Live preview shows how they look together.

Groomr applies your brand kit to every ad it makes, whether you ask in chat or use Create.

Plan your posts

  1. Select Calendar to see your posts by day.
  2. Drag a post that’s waiting for approval onto a time to approve it and schedule it for then.

Find past work

  • On the Marketing page, select See all next to Recent work to open My images, every ad and image you’ve made.
  • Campaigns appear as one card in Recent work and All work, with all of their sizes inside.

Good to know

  • Making images needs a paid plan. Free plans can set up a brand kit and draft an ad but can’t generate the images. Each new image uses your AI balance; building an ad from one of your own photos doesn’t. See your balance under Settings → Billing → AI tokens.
  • Set up your brand kit first. It’s what makes your ads look like your business. If you turn it off under Look, the ad comes out in neutral colors and fonts.
  • Marketing settings live under Settings → Groomr AI → Marketing.
  • Who can use it. Making ads in chat needs the Marketer skill in your role. By default that’s Owner, Admin and Manager. Change it under Settings → Business → Team, on the Roles tab.
