Approvals
Groomr asks before it does anything that is hard to undo or that reaches someone outside your business. You see what it is about to do, and nothing happens until you say yes.
Ask Groomr
“Delete the Smith family”
Groomr finds the client first. If more than one matches, it asks which one. Then it shows an approval card, titled Delete Client?, with the details underneath and two buttons: Delete and Keep. Once you choose, the card changes to show Approved or Denied, so the conversation keeps a record of what you decided.
“What needs my approval?”
Groomr lists the requests waiting for you, and you can approve or reject one by telling it which.
What Groomr checks with you first
| What | How it asks |
|---|---|
| Deleting a client (and their pets), a pet, an appointment or a service | An approval card with Delete and Keep |
| Changing a price or adding a service | It reads the service and amount back and waits for you to confirm |
| Vaccines read from a photo | A card to check each row; nothing saves until you tap Save |
| A van read from a photo | A card to check each field before it saves |
| A social post or ad | Review post, where you approve it to publish or decline it |
| A nudge about an overdue regular | A Draft first button, so you see the message before anything goes out, or Not now |
Or do it yourself
Everything Groomr asks to do can also be done by hand, from the client, pet, appointment or setting itself.
Good to know
- Nudges never message a client on their own. They offer to reach out, and you see the draft first. See Today and nudges.
- Deletes are permanent. Deleting a client also deletes all their pets, and deleting a service deletes its pricing. To keep a visit in history, use the /Cancel — appointment command instead, which frees the time but keeps the record.
